About Freedom PTA
Freedom Elementary PTA is a relatively new organization serving the parents, teachers, and students of Freedom Elementary School in the Colorado Springs School District 11.
We have a newly appointed Executive Board for the 2011-2012 school year who is energetic and committed to helping our students, parents, and teacher have a fantastic year.
Our primary goal this year is to increase the quality and number of the before and after school enrichment programs for our students.
Our Mission:
To support, improve, and enrich the educational, social, and individual experiences of our children, parents, teachers, and staff.
Our Goals for 2011-2012:

Increase the quality and number of the before and after school enrichment programs.

Increase PTA membership to 200 members.

Increase PTA member support and visibility at PTA sponsored events.

Increase volunteer participation.

Increase membership and participation by fathers and father-figures.

Improve communication with parents, teachers and staff.

Increase parental and teacher participation and attendance at the monthly General Membership Meetings.
