About Freedom PTA

 

Freedom Elementary PTA is a relatively new organization serving the parents, teachers, and students of Freedom Elementary School in the Colorado Springs School District 11.

We have a newly appointed Executive Board for the 2011-2012 school year who is energetic and committed to helping our students, parents, and teacher have a fantastic year.

Our primary goal this year is to increase the quality and number of the before and after school enrichment programs for our students.

Our Mission:

To support, improve, and enrich the educational, social, and individual experiences of our children, parents, teachers, and staff.

Our Goals for 2011-2012:

 

  • Increase the quality and number of the before and after school enrichment programs.

  • Increase PTA membership to 200 members.

  • Increase PTA member support and visibility at PTA sponsored events.

  • Increase volunteer participation.

  • Increase membership and participation by fathers and father-figures.

  • Improve communication with parents, teachers and staff.

  • Increase parental and teacher participation and attendance at the   monthly General Membership Meetings.
